xx Introduction to the Aironet PCMCIA Wireless LAN Adapter

In an all Wireless LAN, the workstations each equipped with an Aironet Client Card are

linked to a stand-alone Access Point Root Unit which acts as a hub, linking all Radio

Nodes together.

Figure 0.5

shows three Aironet Client Cards (in ARLAN Mode) registered to an

Access Point. The Access Point acts as a hub, allowing communications between each

of the Client Cards.
